We had such a great time in the Perpetual Motion Escape Room last night. Fantastic, well thought out layout. Loved that we had space to work in and weren’t all on top of each other like we have been in other escape rooms.
Hosts were fantastic too. We will be back.

My friends and I decided to do an escape room when we drove past Elude. We booked in and tried out their ‘Framed’ escape room. It was some of the most brilliant fun I have ever had. The staff were absolutely lovely. The facility was fun and professional. The rooms were so well designed – it feels like you’ve gone back in time. The puzzles and riddles in the Framed room were definitely challenging, but manageable with some thought and attention. Overall, it was so much fun. There was a great story with lots of elements in the Framed room, and we all had a blast.
None of us were really sure what to expect but it exceeded our expectations by a long shot. Escape rooms are not all that common in Australia yet, but I think everyone should give it a go and the team at Elude makes the experience easy for beginners.
I will absolutely go back again. Elude team, thank you for giving my friends and I such a fun experience!

Their rooms are probably some of the best in the world. The puzzles are well thought out and logical. They don’t rely on gimmicks, but at the same time the rooms are strongly themed with a great back story. The condition of the rooms is great and all the puzzles are working. Each room has a dedicated staff looking after it and respond instantly to questions. I have now completed all rooms. I have done them with family and as a team building exercise. Perfect for both.

Shhhh, don’t tell anyone how great Elude Escape Rooms are! We want to keep it our little secret. Fantastic rooms – we did Framed today and it was pretty challenging! That’s all I’m going to say about that. Don’t want to ruin the puzzle for anyone else. Elude are really professional but super friendly. Had a great time. We’ve done a few escape rooms but nothing has compared to Elude. Can’t wait to tackle a few more!

Our 17th escape room and best we’ve done by far! From the location to the attention to detail, all so well done! Great combination of puzzles and aesthetics, you can tell the room was created by people who have done many other rooms and knew what works (and most importantly eliminated what doesn’t!)
Fun and great puzzles, challenging but not too frustrating! Will be back to conquer the next room very soon (maybe tomorrow!!)

I highly recommend Elude!! Darren and Julia were great hosts. Darren was very thorough explaining everything to us pre and post escape room which was really helpful!
He was also keeping a close eye for when we needed hints which was really good compared to some rooms who forget to check if you need help.

My best friend and I went to Elude and chose the ‘Framed’ room. AMAZING!! The attention to detail with the back story, including hidden Agatha Christie references, the different puzzles, locks and clues were incredible, along with the props themselves. Honestly at the top of my favourite Escape Room experiences. As a team of two this room was very challenging, there’s so much going on! I think it would be best to have at least three people try to tackle it. We had the pleasure of being welcomed by the female owner who was an absolute delight, so friendly, easy going and allowed for bonus time, something a lot of other venues don’t provide. It allowed us to experience the room in its entirety which was great. We will definitely be back for ‘Perpetual Motion’ and all the new rooms once completed!

Late review but already tried Perpetual Motion, Framed and the magician’s lair pop-up. Me and my partner are up to around 40+ Escape rooms now and definitely Elude is in our highly recommended list. Great quality puzzles and themes PLUS owners that care about the their customers as well as the whole Escape Room genre thriving, I’m glad Julia was around to chat for a bit after our last time around. From walking in to leaving for the night I felt welcomed from the staff and satisfyingly challenged from the rooms. And I still got one more to finish off. Excited for more to come as well. I’m glad these are around. 😁

A MUST FOR ANY ESCAPE ROOM FANATIC!
Our group of 4 completed both rooms and thoroughly enjoyed both (Perpetual Motion & Framed). This was our 42nd and 43rd escape room in Australia.
I would rate these rooms in my top 5.
You can tell that the organizers have a real passion and thorough understanding of what makes an excellent escape room. Their attention to detail is staggering and the puzzles are ingenious. The thinking behind the setups are mind boggling. All in all, a unique and amazing escape room experience.
Thank you Darren and Julia for the engaging conversations before and after each room. It was a real delight to be able to get a glimpse into the escape room world from the game masters perspective. We couldn’t have asked for more fun this easter long weekend!

A friend and I played the Perpetual Motion room today. It is the first room we played with Elude (and certainly won’t be the last!). Out of the 25 rooms I’ve played in Sydney this was amongst the best. Our game master Julia was so kind as to give us a little bit of bonus time just to finish off our game!
The design, props and atmosphere were unique and there is something I’ve never seen in any other escape room before which is always a bonus 🙂 The puzzles are complex but not difficult (just the right level of complexity) and most are hands-on which we loved. The game is linear (which we also love for a party of 2 especially). Oh, and even the waiting area is clean, colourful and welcoming~
If anyone is thinking that Galston is far, it’s not really if driving. I urge you to try this room anyway regardless, it’s worth the trip. A well-designed room is not always easy to come by. Plus, there’s parking. I look forward to trying out their other rooms in the future~ Thank you for a great time today!

Our group of 4 took on the Perpetual Motion room and it did not disappoint. From the get go we were kept on our toes working through the puzzles and clues and found the rooms logical flow challenging yet achievable. The game masters offered strategic hints to keep us on track when needed. There were high fives all round when we escaped with 33 seconds to go! We highly recommend playing this room and are already planning our next visit to try the other room, Framed.

Perpetual Room at Elude is the best escape room yet (though I have only completed 3)! Every clue was logical and sequential which works well with my brain type. Definitely recommend 3 or more people as this room requires teamwork in more ways than one 😉
Darren and Julia, the owners, are such lovely, passionate and helpful people. They were so welcoming from the minute we arrived, greeting us at the car. They even asked if we had to rush off afterwards, as if we had time they would prefer us to escape the room and get the full experience, should we not escape in time. With their help and guidance we were able to escape with 22 seconds to spare. We’ll be back as soon as the new rooms open up! Would definitely recommend.

Darren and Julia were a hoot. They are so obviously passionate about their rooms and they were as excited about our visit as we were.

From the moment that you enter the office for the escape room you’re either welcomed by Julia or Darren both of which are super friendly and enthusiastic, they make you feel welcome and always have a smile on their face. Once you’re done in the office you’ll be taken to whichever escape room you’ve chosen, all of which are amazing. I have loved the time that I’ve put in (along with my cousin and friend) to complete all the escape rooms at Elude, every room has so much attention to detail and are so much fun to complete. I’ve done all 3 rooms at Elude and there are 2 more on the way being made which I am more than excited for. Elude is one of if not the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to!

From the moment you set foot into the Perpetual Motion room you can tell that Julia and Darren have put in an amazing amount of time and effort to ensure every little detail is perfect.
The room itself is a work of art and is a challenge, but never impossible or frustrating.
The theming of the room is quite possibly the most thorough and well thought out of the 40ish rooms I have done over the world.
You can tell that Julia and Darren are diehard escape room fans and dedicated to their craft and ensuring a great time for their customers.
The proximity of the room to the city was a pleasant surprise and did not take nearly as long to get to as I thought it would. There is ample parking and signage.
Overall this room kept me in constant amazement from start to finish- I still cannot wipe the smile from my face or recommend Elude highly enough!

Finished with 3mins to go! 6 friends ( 4 of them newbies to the escape room experience) & it was one of best escape rooms for the two that had done a number before.
It was well thought out & the puzzles were awesome!
The rooms were designed & you could tell that planning by someone who had done many escape rooms had planned it.
We had a super night and would highly recommend it! We will be back to tackle the other two rooms and the bonus is having it so close to home!! 5 out of 5 from us.

The trouble with reviewing an escape room is that it’s like Fight Club…you do not talk about Fight Club. You do not talk about escape rooms…. or it totally gives away the awesomeness! And the Elude Perpetual Motion room has awesomeness by the bucketload. Not wanting to spoil any of the puzzles… but you’ll be scratching your head and frantically trying to decode the myriad of riddles and clues all the time being watched over by the friendly Games masters who will help you along with extra cryptic hints if you’re getting stuck.
Get in, find the capacitor, and get out within the hour… IF YOU CAN. It’s a very clever theme and you won’t be disappointed, no matter if you’re an escape room rookie or an addict. This is our third room, one of our team was a total newbie, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for a tops experience!

Our party of 6 decided to give the Framed Room a go. Wow! From the moment we entered to the moment we finally completed all and managed to unlock that last lock, was an absolutely brilliant game. We required extra minutes to finally escape. Very well thought out, amazing hints, amazing room and all its contents. We all were not disappointed, we needed all of our brains to get through it.

Elude’s passion, creativity, and enthusiasm really shines through in the Perpetual Motion room. They definitely managed to throw a couple of neat surprises in there that I’d never seen done at an escape room before. You need to go check out this room, whether you’re an enthusiast or a casual escape room fan! Being a first timer doing an escape room at Elude escape room it challenged the 6 of us mentally, laterally and critically outside of the box. Being the last group to complete it – even though the 6 of us being competitive and determined to complete it from start to end.
Also, the staff at Elude Room were very energetic and very helpful before, during and after the escape room it will be something that i wont forget but the rest of the members of my group will never forget
P.S highly recommend this escape room if anyone is planning their next escape room the team at Elude will make the experience fun and enjoyable

Absolutely fantastic fun packed morning at Elude escape rooms in Perpetual Motion room after the 8 am Saturday Galston parkrun.
Extremely professional family run business, with very creative puzzles in elaborately decked out and well maintained rooms, and with outstanding friendly hosts, who deserve every one of their 5 star reviews!
The clues provided were excellent, without giving away the solution, and only became specific when we were totally stumped.
We had only attended one other escape room prior and hope to return with a larger group to take on the other two rooms.

The absolute BEST!! We were blown away with the level of detail, the amazing puzzles (some of which we’d never seen before) and the great atmosphere in Perpetual Motion. Great storyline and it was definitely the hardest escape room we’ve done as a team of four! Luckily we escaped with 21 seconds to spare (but with a lot of help!). We really loved chatting with Darren and Julia before and after and seeing their enthusiasm for escape rooms and their excitement for building their amazing rooms. Two of us played the Yin Yang room today which is their newest room. I cannot like it more! The atmosphere and props were amazing. The puzzles were challenging enough to be fun but not too difficult that you get stuck too often. Two people was perhaps a little too optimistic. A group of 4 seems to be a good number for this room for players with some experience. We did not make it out on time (by far!) but was allowed by the very nice owners to finish the whole game. Thank you! We loved it from beginning to end.
The clue system is via a computer screen and the game master is always watching and listening attentively. This is perhaps my favourite mode of clue system. Most puzzles are mechanical and hands on which is my favourite also. All in all, top room! Looking forward to playing their other room Framed.
Oooh also played their Beat the Box 20min “break into a box” game which was lots of fun also 🙂 if you have time, do that too when you’re there.

Had the best time at elude escape rooms in Galston…it was our first ever escape room so was unsure what to expect but it was brilliant. I took my mum aged in her seventies and my older teenage children and we ALL LOVED it, will definitely be going back to try their other rooms . ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANY PERSON WHO ENJOYS PUZZLES.
My little group of fanatics spent an absolutely wonderful afternoon with Julia and Darren yesterday. There are currently two escape rooms available and both are excellent. I still smile when I think about them.
This two rooms mark our 42nd and 43rd room in Australia, and we had such a fun time we almost didn’t want to leave. There are lots of original and interesting elements which we have not seen in other rooms.
I think a large part of what makes the rooms are such a pleasure to play is due to the amazing attention to details and effort put into them – these are rooms and owners, who we (as players) truly appreciate as they put a lot of their own experiences from other rooms and their passion into their own production.
Cannot wait for the new room(s) to open and make another visit to them.
