Ecco Shoes were up for a Challenge

We were looking for a unique team building opportunity for a company outing. The Elude escape rooms provide a fantastic, challenging and fun team building exercise! We would definitely recommend this to anyone. There are several scenarios to choose to escape from. We tried both the “perpetual motion” room and the “framed” room. Having experienced several escape rooms abroad I can easily say this was the most complete, exciting and challenging escape room experience I have tried. Taking my Mastermind Group to Elude Escape Rooms was an awesome finish to a great year. The Elude team ensured we had the best experience ever and we love the fact that good teamwork is required to solve all the (not so easy) and cleverly made puzzles. Imaginative and varied clues, tasks and challenges created the perfect environment for team building fun and the opportunity to apply problem solving skills and lateral thinking. We went as a business group but would also be great for a family (suggest children need to be 14+) looking to do a fun activity together – reinforces the importance of teamwork clear communication and having a laugh! It was very well organised and felt like a real accomplishment to “escape”. GamesMasters were superb and the location was great too. Wonderful time spent at Elude Escape rooms this morning. Wanted to give my visiting adult family something different to do while in town, and so glad we tried Elude escape rooms. Despite both my mum and sister having operations earlier this year and still not being fully mobile, they could easily participate. Lots of different challenges, so we all had a chance to uncover the secrets to escape. When we got stuck, there was guidance available (got to be an awesome job being the gamesmaster!). Owners very friendly, passionate and helpful without interfering with your enjoyment. Highly recommend as a team building, communication building experience, as well as a different outing for friends or adult family members. Look forward to new rooms!

I have taken two of my business clients through the Elude escape rooms at Galston. As a behavioural expert it is fascinating to observe how the different personalities in a team work together, or not.  The escape room puzzles are a great opportunity for a team to learn about themselves – who steps up to lead, the power of the quiet observant person, the problem solver who can think outside the box, and those that can decipher and follow instructions.  It is also interesting to watch the emotional journey, who gets frustrated easily, who gives up, who can persist.  The opportunity to debrief from a shared experience like this is valuable to any team that wants to learn and grow and become better.
