A Torquay Birthday Party for Ages 11–16
Torquay is a treasure hunt with a seaside twist. The eccentric Major Gowen used to take his granddaughter Emma to the beach at Torquay, on the English Riviera, and he has set up a treasure hunt for her to find his gold bar. The only clue is a photo of the Major taken at the beach, and the kids have 60 minutes to help Emma find her grandfather’s fortune.
Why it suits 11 to 16 year olds
Torquay covers the widest age range of any of our party rooms, from 11 to 16, so it works well for a mixed group of friends or siblings of different ages. With a difficulty rating of 4½ it’s a proper challenge, and our GamesMaster goes into the room with the children for the whole game and gives clues whenever the team gets stuck, so the party keeps moving and finishes on a high.

Torquay takes up to 6 children, a good fit for a celebration with a few close friends. The price is a fixed $430 whether you bring 2 children or 6.

For Birthday bookings in Torquay, we recommend 11 to 16 years of age.
The Escape Room “Torquay” lasts for 1 hour. Please allow for a total of 1 ½ hours onsite to cover the briefing before and after the game.
Party Packages are fixed prices. It doesn’t matter if you have 2 children or 6 children. We have a flat rate to make it easier for the parents, as we know how hard it is to arrange exact numbers on the day.
The maximum number of participants for children’s birthdays is 6. No exceptions, due to space available in the room.
